Wings for the Fallen was created in memory of my nephew Mitch, who passed away from an overdose. This artwork became the place I put my grief, anger, love, and the pain of losing him too soon. I worked on it over three years, layer by layer, as part of my own healing.
It is a memorial, a release, and a reminder that even from the darkest moments, beauty can still grow.
